What's New?

Hello friends and family!

Our family is embarking on a new season in our lives - one that is both terrifying and amazing; one that we look forward to sharing with you!

Let us explain... The month of June has been a turning point for us.  It has solidified what we already knew, and turned it into something real.  We attended a Candidate Orientation in Oshawa, Ontario for hopefuls wanting to become missionaries through Greater Europe Mission (GEM).  There, we had the honour of being appointed to serve as missionaries overseas!

Yep, you read that right.  We - Franklin and Leanne, have decided to follow our hearts in living a life as full-time missionaries.

Why, you ask?  For a few years now, Franklin has had Italy on his heart.  He knew our family was meant to go there, and we began to believe that we would one day go... maybe when our kids were older, but probably not yet.  He started to receive confirmations about Italy, and we realized that the timing was closer than we had anticipated; so when Leanne began having dreams confirming God's call for our family, we began looking into how it might look to move to Italy.

We found an agency that we love and have decided to partner with, and feel strongly that it's time to move forward with these dreams of ours.

So, back to this orientation in Oshawa we already mentioned... While there, we were assigned homework to contact a few close family members and/or friends to join our support team, which propelled us into our new ministry.

We are officially in the support-raising chapter of this adventure!

Our goal is to be fully funded by October 2019, and in Italy shortly thereafter.
